Drew D. Lyons
Drew is from Slidell, LA where he attended Northshore High School. After graduating in 2006, he attended Louisiana State University. Drew graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics in 2011. After working at the law firm of Kizer, Hood, and Morgan he decided to pursue a law degree. While attending Southern University Law Center, Drew had the privilege of serving as Chairperson for the Moot Court Board. Drew graduated cum laude in 2015. After graduating, Drew began practicing at the Newsome Law Firm in Baton Rouge. While there, he engaged in many aspects of civil litigation defense, primarily in the area of federal railroad regulations. In the summer of 2017, Drew was chosen to serve as Law Clerk for the honorable Shelly D. Dick in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. During his clerkship, Drew gained invaluable knowledge of the federal court system and experience in many different areas of law. In returning to private practice, Drew seeks to build strong relationships with clients in order to provide them the most effective and efficient representation possible to achieve success.
